Video walls (aka display walls) are made up of multiple displays arranged in the form of a single large visualization surface. These devices generally utilize tiled LCD panels, rear-projection cubes, or direct LED tiles.
Video walls can be customized in a variety of sizes and configurations, in most cases with a screen diameter between 46” and 80”. The size of the screen tends to vary depending on the type of content that needs to be played as well as the viewing distance. If the video wall is to be viewed from close proximity, the pixel density should be sufficiently high so that individual pixels are not visible.
Video wall screens are usually found in control centers, digital signage, meeting rooms, and other visually demanding environments.
